Where it all began

Rob and I work together in our day jobs, and we needed to have a joint hobby away from work.  I was enthused by resin after seeing some in Covent Garden. Next thing Rob had ordered me a box of goodies!!

So, the practise began in earnest, easy I thought just watch ‘You Tube’ and we would be away. It was not as easy as one thought!!!  Messy, sticky, stressful and so many disasters ☹with a great deal of practise & many ££’ss later, with much patience, progress was made.

Rob suggested he could use some of my leftover resin and we embarked on a trial of resin serving boards and coffee tables. We were enjoying making and creating. Rob decided to make Carving and chopping boards for friends and family, the word was out what we did, and friends started to purchase for themselves and their friends. Fast forward to our first fair, wonderful comments so we carried on for a while to see how it progressed.

We are continuing to make one offs and bespoke pieces.

 Our first resin table is in the making all or nothing we thought 9.5 foot long using a wonderful piece of Pippy Burr Oak, so onwards and upwards 😊
